Sales Tax
Only if the shipping address is located in Illinois*.  If this applies to you, sales tax will be collected at the Evanston, IL rate of 10.00%.  If you don’t live in Illinois, we don’t charge sales tax!
*Please note: Regardless of your location, you may be required to pay use tax for any items purchased; contact your accountant for details. 
Shipping Options and Rates
We ship anywhere UPS goes via Ground.  If you live in the 48 continential United States, shipping is FREE.  However, this doesn’t apply if you meet one of the criteria below:
  • If you live in Hawaii, Alaska
  • If you live abroad
  • If you want a faster shipping option than Ground

Return Policy
Sometimes, there are times when parts are damaged or missing.  If this is the case, please contact us right away and we will do everything possible to promptly remedy the problem.
All un-damaged returns are allowed within 7 days of delivery, but the box must be not opened and you must contact us first to get authorization.  Due to our iron-clad 100% satisfaction guarantee, we don’t charge a re-stocking fee because we want you to have a comfortable, hassle-free shopping experience with us, and that includes if you are not completely comfortable with the item!  How many sites say that publicly?   All returns are on product price only, i.e. shipping costs will not be refunded.
Please make sure you are comfortable with your purchase, as un-damaged returns are subject to shipping charges you may incur shipping the chair back .  Use our handy buying checklist as a reference before you place your order to minimize the chance of having to return an item
Warranty on Chairs
All chairs we sell are warranted for life*.  If anything breaks or stops working on our chairs, just give us a call and we’ll make it right.  Unfortunately, we don’t warrant leather against routine scratching and scuffing, as all leather is subject to minor blemishes in use.
Warranty Disclaimer*:
  • Warranty is limited to the original purchaser for normal commercial usage defined as a standard forty hour work week by persons weighing 250 lbs. or fewer.  Note: the weight limitation on warranty does not apply to our big-and-tall chair.
  • Warranty will not cover labor, freight or damage from misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, accident, vandalism, rusting, acts of nature or any other event beyond the control of StylishOfficeChairs.com.
  • The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage that may result from normal use.
  • Liability for incidental or consequential damages is excluded.
  • The user assumes all risk of injury resulting from use of this product.
  • When usage is more than 40 hours per week, a two-year warranty on all parts applies.
  • This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
