Do I get volume discounts on price?
Yes!  The more you order, the more you save on the price of each chair, please contact us for a customized quote.
 
 
When does my credit card get charged?
Within 24-72 hours of order placement.
 
 
What’s the difference between the different type of leathers?
There are three main types of leather we use on our chairs: top-grain/top, split, and glove soft.
 
Top-Grain/Top – After the leather is treated, a razor is used to split the leather into two halves: the top and the bottom.  The top is the external side, and is the highest quality, both in terms of natural feel and durability.  "Top Grain" comes from cows, and "Top" comes from pigs.  These chairs will last the longest and look the most natural, but are priced a little higher. 
Split Leather – The bottom half is called "split leather", and has grains pressed back into it to achieve a leather look.  This leather is more economical than top grain, but is a little less durable.
Glove Soft Leather – This is made by breaking treated leather down and rebuilding it with synthetic composites.  This is the softest and most comfortable leather available.

Do you collect sales tax?
Only if the shipping address is located in Illinois*.  If this applies to you, sales tax will be collected at the Evanston, IL rate of 10.00%.  If you don’t live in Illinois, we don’t charge sales tax!
 
*Please note: Regardless of your location, you may be required to pay use tax for any items purchased; contact your accountant for details. 
 
 
When will my order arrive?
We estimate delivery in 2-3 weeks from when you place your order.  It takes a few days for the order to process, about a week for the chairs to ship out of the warehouse, and another week for the chairs to arrive via Ground shipping. 
 
Please note we offer this time frame as a convenience, and are not responsible for shipping time, as many factors outside our control can affect shipment time.
 
 
What are your shipping policies?
We ship anywhere UPS goes.  If you live in the 48 continential United States, shipping is FREE.  However, if you live in Hawaii, Alaska, or are ordering international, please contact us for a fast, easy, no-obligation shipping quote before ordering.
 
 
Are my orders secure?
Yes, we exclusively use Paypal to process orders.  We believe Paypal is the best solution for online ordering.  Paypal allows you to pay for your purchase easily and conveniently, and is backed up with a 100% protection guarantee from unauthorized payments.  When you’re ready to order, you can use your Paypal account, or use your Visa/Master Card/American Express/Discover card, to pay for your purchase.
Best of all, it’s free for you, and you don’t even need to sign up for an account to purchase. 
We also use Equifax to secure our ordering process.  When you enter our checkout, you may noticed a little lock icon on the bottom of your screen: this is letting you know we have an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate.  You may click on the lock to view the details.
 
 
What is your return policy on chairs?
Sometimes, there are times when parts are damaged or missing.  If this is the case, please contact us right away and we will do everything possible to promptly remedy the problem.
All un-damaged returns are allowed within 7 days of delivery, but the box must be not opened and you must contact us first to get authorization.  Due to our iron-clad 100% satisfaction guarantee, we don’t charge a re-stocking fee because we want you to have a comfortable, hassle-free shopping experience with us, and that includes if you are not completely comfortable with the item!  How many sites say that publicly?   All returns are on product portion of the price only: built-in shipping costs will not be refunded.
Please make sure you are comfortable with your purchase, as un-damaged returns are subject to shipping charges you may incur shipping the chair back .  Use our handy buying checklist as a reference before you place your order to minimize the chance of having to return an item.
 
 
What is the warranty on chairs?
All chairs we sell are warranted for life*.  If anything breaks or stops working on our chairs, just give us a call and we’ll make it right.  Unfortunately, we don’t warrant leather against routine scratching and scuffing, as all leather is subject to minor blemishes in use.
 
Warranty Disclaimer*:
  • Warranty is limited to the original purchaser for normal commercial usage defined as a standard forty hour work week by persons weighing 250 lbs. or fewer.  Note: the weight limitation on warranty does not apply to our big-and-tall chair.
  • Warranty will not cover labor, freight or damage from misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, accident, vandalism, rusting, acts of nature or any other event beyond the control of StylishOfficeChairs.com.
  • The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage that may result from normal use.
  • Liability for incidental or consequential damages is excluded.
  • The user assumes all risk of injury resulting from use of this product.
  • When usage is more than 40 hours per week, a two-year warranty on all parts applies.
  • This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
